Due to the low spring tension and the quality of the stock clutch, even mildly tuned setups may start to slip. To prevent this, a performance clutch is recommended.

For some time now, Metrakit has been offering one of the best clutches on the market: the ProRace version. Here, spring tension has been increased by about 20%, and both the material and the geometry of the clutch plates have been optimized.

Installing a performance clutch is straightforward and can usually be done even by less experienced tuners.
